Verse 1
The one who loves the truth does not live in appearances,
but walks before God with a pure and faithful heart;
not seeking to prevail through pride or empty words,
but striving to please Christ through love.
Truth is not an idea that changes with the world;
Truth has a Name: Jesus Christ the Lord.
He is the Way, the Life, the everlasting Light,
and whoever follows Him will not walk in error.
Verse 2
The true Christian listens to the Holy Word,
and does not bend the Gospel to personal desire;
with humility accepts correction when needed,
and through grace is born anew again.
He loves the Church that Christ Himself has given,
lives the Eucharist and reconciliation;
for faith is more than merely spoken words,
true faith is revealed through works and conversion.
Pre-Chorus
Lord, remove from my soul every falsehood and deception;
give me a humble heart, steadfast and sincere.
May my life proclaim Your Gospel to the nations,
and may my voice never be afraid to believe.
Chorus 1
I want to love Your truth,
to live within Your light, O Jesus;
may my “yes” always be sincere,
and may my life reflect Your Cross.
I want to love Your truth,
without fear and without compromise;
for only in You there is freedom,
only in You my soul finds faith.
Verse 3
Truth spoken with love can lift the fallen,
it does not humiliate nor destroy with cruelty;
it corrects with patience and mercy,
and leads every soul toward holiness.
It is not enough to say, “Lord, I know You,”
if my fruits do not reflect Your goodness and grace;
the world longs to witness within our actions
justice, compassion, and truth embraced.
Chorus 2
We long to live Your truth,
to be witnesses of Your love;
through every word and every action,
standing firm in faith before the Lord.
We long to carry Your truth
to every nation and every home;
that the world may come to know Christ
and walk forever within His light.
Final Chorus
Listen, O my soul, to the counsel of the Scriptures:
“Remain in My word,” declares the Lord;
“and you shall know the truth, and the truth shall set you free,”
if you remain united to Christ through faith and love.
Do not merely speak of truth — live it every day;
do not hide the light God placed within your soul.
Love, forgive, and correct with mercy,
and by your fruits the servant shall be known.
May the mercy of Jesus Christ
always be a great blessing upon you;
may His truth illuminate your path,
and may His peace forever dwell within your heart.
