In the silence of the ages,
God began to speak,
not with swords or power,
but with love so deep.
When the world was lost in darkness,
when the soul began to fall,
He opened up the heavens,
let His light be seen by all.
Not by human strength or power,
not by earthly might,
but His arm reached down in mercy,
breaking through the night.
What was once hidden,
now revealed in His voice…
“The Lord has shown His victory,
His justice shining through the nations,
no darkness can stand before His glory,
no chains can hold against His love.
The Lord has shown His victory,
and the whole world will see,
from the heavens to the ends of the earth,
Jesus Christ reigns in majesty.”
On the cross He wrote the story
with His blood and with His grace,
what the world had called a failure
He redeemed and took our place.
And the grave could never hold Him,
nor the night contain His light,
for the King of all creation
rose in glory, rose in might.
“What looked like the ending…
was the beginning in God…”
“The Lord has shown His victory,
His justice shining through the nations,
no darkness can stand before His glory,
no chains can hold against His love.
The Lord has shown His victory,
and the whole world will see,
from the heavens to the ends of the earth,
Jesus Christ reigns in majesty.”
“Oh eternal victory,
there’s no other name like Yours,
Jesus, Jesus,
Your kingdom will endure.
Heaven now declares it,
all creation sings,
the victory is Yours, O King.”
“The Lord has shown His victory,
and His light will never fade,
every tongue will speak His holy name,
and His glory will remain.”
“The Lord has shown His victory,
His justice shining through the nations,
no darkness can stand before His glory,
no chains can hold against His love.
The Lord has shown His victory,
and the whole world will see,
from the heavens to the ends of the earth,
Jesus Christ reigns in majesty.”
The Lord has overcome…
and His love will remain…
“The Lord has shown His victory,
His justice shining through the nations,
no darkness can stand before His glory,
no chains can hold against His love.
The Lord has shown His victory,
and the whole world will see,
from the heavens to the ends of the earth,
Jesus Christ reigns in majesty.”
