“My Father…” Your voice softly cried,
with a soul wounded in love…
In the night of silence and betrayal,
a kiss was given to the Son of God,
thirty coins sold His light,
yet He was already walking toward the cross.
In bread and wine He gave Himself,
His Body and Blood He left to us,
eternal love in a simple sign,
living presence, sacred mystery divine.
And in Gethsemane, in His pain,
He cried out to the Father again:
“Not my will be done,
but Yours alone…”
To the cross for love,
You gave Your heart,
carrying all my sin,
though You had done no wrong.
You were wounded for me,
and still You said “yes,”
Jesus, Lamb of God,
You saved me on the cross.
He was denied by one who swore to love,
abandoned with no one at His side,
beaten, mocked, crowned with pain,
and in silence He answered with love.
Before judgment He did not defend Himself,
like a lamb He surrendered His life,
and upon that cross as He breathed His last,
He came to save the world.
Let Your will be done, Lord,
even when the heart feels pain,
even when the path is dark,
I trust in Your love.
Let Your will be done, my God,
I abandon myself to You alone,
because at the cross I understood
what You did for me.
To the cross for love,
You gave Your heart,
carrying all my sin,
though You had done no wrong.
You were wounded for me,
and still You said “yes,”
Jesus, Lamb of God,
You saved me on the cross.
Forgive me for denying You, Lord,
forgive me for failing You, my God,
when I silence Your truth,
when I forget Your goodness.
But Your blood has washed me clean,
Your mercy has reached me,
and today I surrender to You,
I want to live only for You.
To the cross for love,
today I give You my heart,
I no longer want to betray You,
I only want to adore You.
You have overcome for me,
and now I live for You,
Jesus, King and Savior,
I give You all my love.
Let Your will be done, Lord,
today I surrender to Your love,
I no longer want to resist,
I want to trust in You.
Truly You are God,
my Savior, my Redeemer,
Jesus, Lamb of love,
today I give myself to You.
Let Your will be done…
Let Your will be done…
in my life, Lord…
