Love is fulfillment of Commandments of God

Dear God of Abraham, hear this sinner's cry, You gave us truth, which is your Commandments, through Israel from on high. You know we’re weak, our flesh falls short each day, But through King David, you showed a better way. A prayer for help to be righteous we must raise, Not for worldly things, but for your holy ways. You give worldly things to those who obey, For the righteous receive what they long for, but the wicked get what they fear.

Help us to keep your Commandments, Amen.

Oh dear God of Abraham, hear our hearts. Our imagination dreams impossible things, shaped by sorrow, pride, and love and other feelings’ deep springs. Let only love shape imagination's guide, which keep our hearts and dreams purified. To love another is to walk the holy way. Every law comes down to this: love your neighbor as yourself each day. Love won’t harm, it heals the wounds and clears the night. Yes, love alone fulfills the law—it’s our guiding light.

Love is always patient; love is always kind; love is never envious or arrogant with pride. Nor is she conceited, and she is never rude; she never thinks just of herself or ever gets annoyed. She never is resentful; is never glad with sin; she’s always glad to side with truth, and pleased that truth will win. She bears up under everything; believes the best in all; there is no limit to her hope, and never will she fall.
