I watched the silence in your eyes,

Wondered if you'd stay or say goodbye.

But while I questioned all your steps,

I missed the mirror in my chest.

I held my doubt like it was truth,

Built a cage, then blamed it on you.

But how can love survive the trial,

When trust is buried under denial?

What am I afraid to lose?

The lie, or the honest truth?
