From Jesse's root, a branch will rise,
With wisdom burning in His eyes,
He won’t judge by what He sees,
But speak with truth and set hearts free.
The wolf will lie beside the lamb,
The earth will rest beneath His hand,
No more hurt, no more fear,
For heaven’s song is drawing near.
Lift up a banner, let the nations see,
The King of peace, the Prince of harmony.
No more war, no more fight,
Just the dawn of holy light.
He gathers the lost from every land,
And leads them home with outstretched hand.
He won’t drive out the nations left,
But heal the wounds, restore what's cleft.
Where Joshua’s sword had drawn a line,
The Messiah builds a bridge divine.
Ephraim and Judah reconciled,
No more envy, no more trials,
The rivers part, the deserts bloom,
The scattered rise from exile’s tomb.
He calls the nations near and far,
Not with sword, but with a scar—
The sign of love, the mark of grace,
A world redeemed in His embrace.
Lift up a banner, let the people sing,
The Lion lays down like a lamb with the King.
Every heart, every race,
Come together in His grace.
He rules with justice, kind and wise,
Till peace flows deep as ocean tides.
Isaiah 11:9
"And the earth shall be full of the knowledge of the LORD,
as the waters cover the sea."
