And even though Mom may not know

About the extra ones you sneak

I thank you for my little toys

And all those playful things

Like kick sticks, red mice and foil balls

And other treasures you may bring

I thank you for your loving pets

And all your friendly talks

And each night as you hold your nose

When you change our little box

I thank you for our real soft bed

And for all the naps we share

And putting up with tufts of hair.
