Our Healing Harvest

The year seems to have flown right by

As we have enjoyed the good and the bad!

It's amazing all of the seasons

In which we made that devil mad!

His first move was to trip me up

I fell and broke my left hip.

Then he attacked Cindy with kidney stones;

He thought he had made us both slip.

It takes a whole lot of rain to make the crops grow

And a whole lot of time for a body to heal

But God's working deep in the dirt down below

Bringing us back to the way we should feel.

The planting was hard but the harvest is sweet

When God brings the victory and shows Satan defeat

He planned to stop us

but he couldn't keep us down.

He just made our faith stronger,

And his laughter was changed to a frown

Every day, God has touched us with healing,

we grow stronger in every way.

We can see we'll be better than before,

And look forward to a much brighter day!
