Sisters of the Heart

We met in the Rec Room at Claremore Estates

In March of Twenty Twenty-five.

You sang some Oldies and Gospel Hymns,

And somehow, my heart just came alive!

The Holy Spirit nudged me down deep within

To meet you and ask you for your number,

So I could encourage and build you up

And my soul woke up from it's slumber

We met for lunch on a Thursday at Noon

Talked and laughed for two hours straight!

We seemed to "click" and enjoy ourselves.

Our friendship began to celebrate!

At one of your concerts, as you sang

You heard me sing in harmony.

God then dropped into your heart

a brand new possibility!

You invited me to sing

along with you

our friendship grew leaps and bounds!

Now, we joyfully sing

At Retirement Homes

Making music in both of our towns.

Through all of this, God greatly surprised us

With a deep friendship right from the start

In this short time, we've truly become

Very close
