Tonight we lift our voices to Heaven
for every soul in need across the earth.
For the hungry who have no bread,
and for the thirsty who long for water.
For children who cry through the night,
and for families who cannot survive the weight of poverty.
For the homeless sleeping in streets,
in cars, beneath bridges, in abandoned places,
and for all who have no shelter,
no warmth, and no safe place to rest.
For the elderly who feel forgotten,
for the abandoned and lonely,
for those left without love,
without visitors, without comfort,
and without someone to hold their hand.
For the sick and the suffering,
for those in hospitals,
those in pain,
those fighting disease,
those waiting for healing,
and those who can no longer care for themselves.
For the dying,
for souls in their final moments,
that they may receive mercy,
peace, repentance,
and the light of Christ before they leave this world.
For all who have departed this life,
and for the souls being purified in Purgatory,
that God, in His mercy,
may bring them into the joy of eternal rest.
For those trapped in darkness,
those bound by addiction,
violence, fear, abuse, despair, hatred, confusion,
and every chain of evil.
For prisoners and all who are incarcerated,
for those guilty and those wrongly accused,
for those consumed by anger,
and for hearts longing for redemption and forgiveness.
For victims of war,
for refugees,
for those fleeing danger,
for nations living in fear,
and for every innocent life caught in violence.
For mothers and fathers struggling to provide,
for widows and orphans,
for unborn children,
for abandoned children,
and for every broken family searching for hope.
For those suffering silently with depression,
anxiety, grief, trauma, and loneliness,
for those who feel invisible,
and for those who believe nobody cares.
For every victim of abuse, human trafficking, neglect, injustice,
and cruelty.
For workers exhausted from labor,
for those without employment,
for those drowning in debt,
and for families burdened by financial hardship.
For those persecuted for their faith,
for missionaries,
for the Church throughout the world,
and for all who defend truth in times of darkness.
For first responders, firefighters,nurses,
doctors, caregivers,police officers,
and all who risk themselves to protect others.
For every soul wandering far from God,
for those who no longer believe,
for those whose hearts have grown cold,
and for all who are searching for meaning, truth, and salvation.
Lord Jesus Christ,
let this prayer become a cry heard across the nations.
May hearts awaken to compassion.
May the world remember mercy.
May love overcome hatred,
light overcome darkness,
and hope overcome despair.
May no suffering soul be forgotten.
May no wounded heart be abandoned.
May no cry go unheard before Heaven.
“Lord, may Your mercy reach every suffering soul throughout the world.”
