My Body Is A Prison For My Soul

Prison of flesh, blood, and bone.

Thoughts so heavy they feel made of stone.

Tell me what you see.

You seem so horrified.

All of this blood on me right now is all mine.

This flesh and bone used to protect me so well.

But now it doesn’t and heavens gates just watches me walk through hell.

And it’s all your fault.

The words I speak out are heavy like my tongue is made of asphalt.

My prison that holds me still like I’m made of stone——

I used to see through Gods eyes, but that’s not how he planned it——

I used to have a Birds Eye view, but I crash landed on this planet——

I used to be so beautiful but now I can no longer fly.

My eyes had the brightest of flames but now it’s just a candle light.

I used to have such beautiful wings that glowed so bright.

I’ve been on this earth for a long time

I’ve been stuck here searching for a long time.

Searching for what used to be all mine.

Searching from every city to every coastline.
