“¡Hosanna… Hosanna…
The King is coming now!”
The King arrives, so humble and full of peace,
Riding on a donkey, no earthly glory seen,
And all of heaven begins to sing,
For the Messiah has finally come.
The streets are shaking with so much faith,
Cloaks and palms laid down in praise,
And through the crowd a voice is heard:
“Blessed is He who comes in the name of the Lord!”
“The heavens open, the earth responds,
Hearts are awakening, set on fire,
It is the King… it is the King…!”
Hosanna, Hosanna to the King of love!
Hosanna, Hosanna, Christ our Lord!
Today we praise You with all we are,
But teach us, Lord, to be faithful always!
Hosanna in the highest, God our Savior!
Blessed are You, our Redeemer!
With palms we lift Your name on high,
But even to the cross, we choose to love You!
But in the shadows, betrayal grows,
A kiss will sell the Son of God,
The One once welcomed with such honor
Now walks the road of pain.
The same voices shouting today
Will cry tomorrow without mercy,
And the King of glory walks in silence,
Carrying the weight of all mankind.
I don’t want to be among those
Who follow only when all is light and peace…
Give me a faithful heart, O Lord,
To follow You to the cross in love…
Hosanna, Hosanna to the King of love!
Hosanna, Hosanna, Christ our Lord!
If today I cry out with all I am,
Tomorrow at the cross I will not deny You!
Hosanna in the highest, God our Savior!
Blessed are You, my only Lord!
With palms I lift Your name on high,
And even to death, I will love You!
Hosanna… Hosanna…
Even when the cross comes…
I will follow You, Jesus…
Hosanna, Hosanna to the King of love!
Hosanna, Hosanna, Christ our Lord!
If today I cry out with all I am,
Tomorrow at the cross I will not deny You!
Hosanna in the highest, God our Savior!
Blessed are You, my only Lord!
With palms I lift Your name on high,
And even to death, I will love You!
