Growing up
They say it’s for the better
Tell me why is it so heavy
Tell me was the pain necessary
Time keeps passing by
We’re all getting older
You can see it in our eyes
The toll this world has taken
The lessons we have learned
From the dark
In your heart you’ll find
Missing parts, beyond the beating
Deep inside
Through thick and thin than back again
Fighting thru the thorns
Scars over my body that no one can see anymore
There’s a weight on my shoulders the burden I’ve been through
But still I’m getting older
Time won’t stop for you to cope with this
Just get up and go with it
Keep pushing to the limits
Tell me what you find
Don’t forgot to touch in
Somewhere down the line
Time will move on
As the weight piles on
One day we’ll find someone to share with
The stories of our lives
One to help us let go of the past
The weight we hold inside
We fall, we break, we give and take, we’ll get back to do it all again
Loose our way at the hardest parts
But one day we’ll reach a place that’s ours
A place to hold everything we’ve seen
To build upon our dreams
We’ll reach it
oh ah oh-uh oh oh
We’ll let it go
Let the wind wipe away the river of tears we have cried
Be reborn somewhere beautiful under a deep blue sky
Where the world isn’t so heavy
And we laugh through the night always remember there will be a brighter side to your darkest days
You’ll make there, step after step
It’ll all be worth it in the end
