Crazy how fast good intentions turn to a mess
Testing my limits
Pulling demons out my chest
I already deal with enough, don’t need the extra stress
Mind overloaded, feel it pushing me to the edge
I been trying so hard just to hold myself together
Smile through the chaos while praying for better
And honestly im exhausted
Mentally drained, emotionally cautious
Just adding more bricks to the cage that im locked in
Trying not to lose control, plot twist
Cause once you finally break down
You look damaged and monstrous
People act like they couldnt stop it
Whole time plottin
For you to fall down
So they can fill their pockets
Im trying to keep my composure
I’m tired of living in a world so reactive Where hurt people hurt people and call it passion
They love it like an addict
So focused on self love they forget to have compassion
So I hold my composure
Even when the pressure pulls me closer
To becoming everything that hurt me before
But pressure make diamonds
And im a diamond at my core
I refuse to lose myself to this war
Its like a nuclear explosion with negative exposure
I just pray through it and try to keep my composure
This world need healing
But everybody bleeding on each other instead
Passing pain around like money
Till empathy end up dead
Everybody fighting battles nobody can see
Everybody leaving damaged mentally
I pray the world sees better days
More love, less hate
More healing, less rage
Cause right now it feels like nobody’s safe
Everybody hating while smiling in your face
Still I hold my composure
Even when I feel like I'm gonna break
I could let the anger take control
But bitterness damages the soul
So I breathe through every moment
Even when my heart feels broken
I just wanna get some closure
But Till then… I'll just keep my composure.
