Seek peace, not power, in this war-torn land,
Not with the sword, but with a gentle hand.
Seek humility, not prideful might—
For pride will blind, but truth gives sight.
Seek to be righteous, not to be first,
Let not the hunger for glory be your thirst.
For if we chase victory, it flees our way,
But if we walk upright, it will choose to stay.
The wicked build paths that do not know peace,
Their justice crooked, their striving won't cease.
But blessed is the one who walks upright,
Delighting in God’s law day and night.
But peace is Israel’s quiet power,
Rooted deep like a planted flower.
While Esau’s might lives by the blade,
When restless, his yoke is unmade.
When anguish comes and trials oppress,
Don’t seek escape, but righteousness.
Say, “Lord, what is good in this bitter hour?
Make me just, by Your Spirit, empower.”
Like a tree by waters deep,
I yield fruit, and my soul shall keep.
Victory comes not to those who chase—
But to the ones who walk with grace.
For peace is not weakness—it is divine might,
And righteousness the armor that wins the fight.
Let victory trail where virtue goes,
And let the world see the fruit it sows.
