You flood the altar with your tears,
Weeping through the passing years.
But Heaven turns its face away,
Your offerings He won’t repay.
You ask the reason for His stand—
He saw the vow, He took your hand.
He stands as witness to the truth:
The wife you loved in your youth.
God of Abraham, faithful and true,
He watches the hearts of me and you.
He does not listen to a man who lies,
Who breaks his vow and makes his woman cry.
God of Abraham, holy and just,
He calls us to honor, to love, and to trust.
So guard your spirit, don’t let love decay—
The God of Abraham has turned away.
Did He not make you two as one,
Joined by Spirit, sealed and done?
He sought a seed, a child of grace,
To grow within your sacred space.
But betrayal hides behind a smile,
Dressed in peace but stained with guile.
He sees the violence veiled in charm,
And He won't bless a heart that harms.
He hates divorce, He hates deceit,
He knows the pain when vows are beat.
So walk in truth, hold tight the flame,
Protect the marriage in His name.
God of Abraham, He sees it all,
He lifts the faithful, but lets the treacherous fall.
Return your heart, renew the way—
And He will listen when you pray.
God of Abraham, oh hear our cry,
Make us faithful, until we die.
We guard our spirits, we choose Your way—
Let God of Abraham never turn away.
