This here’s the Ballad of Ole Ben
Ole Ben started life in the good ole town of Ellerslie,
Came out the womb a true life saver and and fire fighter, but lord did we not know the troubles that would occur,
When good ole Ben, tried to get him a lady
Someone, oh someone, please be a lady to Ole Ben. He’s got a Big Deck and a house, and if you get hungry, his momma will cook you a good meal, so someone, please someone, be a lady to ole Ben.
Now Ole Ben went round the town and found a few good lookins’, in fact one was so good looking he had come on over. She took him to the back, and there the battle occurred, poor ole Ben versus the whale.
Someone, oh someone, please be a lady to Ole Ben. He’s got a Big Deck and a house, and if you get hungry, his momma will cook you a good meal, so someone, please someone, be a lady to ole Ben.
Later on Ole Ben met the girl of his dreams, a string bean from far away. Many a mile did ole Ben travel, just to see her eyes. Many he spent, catching her wine with his mouth, but never more than kiss, did ole Ben receive. Broken and sad ole Ben came back and swore off the evil hags, only to find him one last one, as pretty as the east point red fish.
Ole ben is settled down now with ole girl he taught, on how to be a fire support and nothing more or less. Though she didn’t answer that day she went fishing with that man, he still came home and sealed the deal, even after he called Matt. Matt said listen here son and listen good, don’t you call me right now. There’s a lady in there and she needs a man, so go be a good man.
Someone, oh someone, please be a lady to Ole Ben. He’s got a Big Deck and a house, and if you get hungry, his momma will cook you a good meal, so someone, please someone, be a lady to ole Ben.
Ole Ben went in scared to death but remembered his training. Daddy always said wear the proper PPE and momma always said be home by 8.
It was 7:43 on that faithful night when been committed the act, and by 7:45 he was back in his truck chugging on back.
So now he sings as loud as he can for all to hear, that Ole Ben laid the pipe, on ole Ben’s big deck.
