(Intro – Spoken softly, like a memory)
Hi…
I’m about to tell you the story of my life
If you’re reading this, then maybe… just maybe
You’re part of it too
(Verse 1)
Born in D.R., Lion Hospital lights
Almost lost before I saw my first night
Mama had a crash, thought it was the end
But God said “not yet” — I got stories to send
Every birthday, they lit candles bright
Even tricked me once—locked me in for a surprise night
Apartment stairs in the ‘hood of teachers
Tiny place, but full of dreamers
1993, happy days were gold
Cristo Rey, where the school bell told
Cedepsi next, just a block from home
Mom lost a baby, but never left us alone
'95, got a sister, not alone in the fight
Dad was tech, mom kept the love tight
Mini TV, cartoons every day
Tiny Toon, Sonic — we’d laugh, we’d play
(Pre-Chorus)
From crabs on the table to jumping off chairs
To breaking my leg just flying through air
Paper Boy and telenovelas, monster dreams
Running through life with pixel screens
Flipping through moments, wounds I’d hide
Till the year when the break cracked open inside
(Chorus)
This is Page One, story of my life
From joy to pain, from wrong to right
Every bruise, every smile, every fall
Little boy dreaming big in a world so small
This is real, no fiction in the lines
Every scar got a name, every wound has a sign
You don’t know me till you’ve walked my nights
So turn the page—this is where it ignites
(Verse 2)
1997, crabs in a bag, dad’s laugh loud
Superman leap, broke my leg — too proud
Computer lessons in a chair, futuristic tech
But I was wild, mischief on deck
Truck to the face, I still got up
Malecon lost, but I never gave up
Flip-flops almost cost my life
Jumped rocks like a daredevil fighting strife
‘98 I walked the stage, first grade grad
But ‘99… the shift came, good turned bad
Can’t skip this page, can’t fake the pain
Can’t run from the storm or dance in the rain
Yeah I remember everything, even if it hurts
The smiles, the tears, the blood on the shirts
(Bridge – Slow, haunting)
They think they know me… but this is mine
You can’t fake truth when it lives in time
13 pages, and I’m still on one
Still breathing under this eclipse sun
(Chorus – Stronger, emotional)
This is Page One, story of my life
From joy to pain, from wrong to right
Every bruise, every smile, every fall
Little boy dreaming big in a world so small
This is real, no fiction in the lines
Every scar got a name, every wound has a sign
You don’t know me till you’ve walked my nights
So turn the page—this is where it ignites
(Outro – Whispered)
Welcome to my story…
This ain’t the end…
It’s just the beginning
Page Two’s coming… stay with me
