I Still Pray

Another long night starin’ at the ceiling,

Tryin’ to hold together everything I’m feelin’.

World keeps pushin’ like it wants me to break,

Every step forward feels one breath from a mistake.

But somewhere underneath the hurt and the pain,

There’s a quiet voice inside me sayin’ pray again.

So I fall down to my knees tonight,

With these scars I’ve tried to hide.

And I still pray when the road feels endless,

Still believe when my soul feels restless.

Even when the silence fills the room,

Even when I’m lost inside the gloom.

Watched love bend beneath the weight we carry now.

And when I feel too far gone to be changed,

I hear mercy whisperin’ my name.

So I bring every fear I have tonight,

Every wrong and every fight.

Still reach out through all the tension.

Even when the answers never come,

Even when I feel undone.

Still bowed my head even when I asked Him “why?”

I’m standin’ here because His mercy says I’m worth it.

And every scar, every failure, every fall,

Never stopped Heaven from hearin’ me call.

Don’t give up now… just pray again.

Pray again… even through the silence.

Pray again… even through the fear.

Pray again… when the season’s heavy.

Pray again… Heaven’s still here.

You are not alone in the darkness,

You are not abandoned in the pain.
