We were kids with cracks in the drywall

We were screaming in the driveway at 2AM again

Over who drank the last of the Coke like it mattered in the end

You’d go for blood, I’d go for loud, never kept it small

He’d stand there in the middle like “I hate both of y’all”

Five minutes later we’re inside like nothing even cracked

Sharing snacks and side-eyes like we didn’t just react

We were barely surviving

Now we’re standing tall

Built a life from nothing
