When Enough Is Enough

Shadows creeping in, can't shake this fear

Lights flicker down, but darkness is near

Running through my mind, can't find my peace

Questioning my steps, will it ever cease?

Every night I hide, every day I pray

Looking over my shoulder, wishing this away

Faces in the dark, whispers in the air

Caught in the maze, can't tell who’s really there

How much more can I take?

This constant fight, this constant ache

Is there a way out, can I break free?

Or am I cursed to always be in need?

When is enough enough of me running and hiding?

Tired of the fear, tired of the silence

Standing on the edge, ready or not

Fighting my demons, giving all I’ve got

Darkness in the shadows, threats in the light

People in the darkness, ready to fight

But I gotta find my strength inside

To face the monsters, no more to hide

Is it worth the risk, is it worth the fight?

To find the courage and step into the daylight
