Christ spoke to His disciples
about the mystery of faith;
a faith that, though it seems small,
can remain steadfast in God.
It is not measured by its size
nor by earthly strength or power;
it is trust in God’s promises,
for the Lord is ever faithful.
The apostles asked the Master:
“Lord, increase our faith today!”
And Jesus answered them
with words filled with divine truth:
“If you have a living faith
like a mustard seed so small,
you will witness God’s great works
through His grace that never fails.”
Faith is not born from human pride
nor from human strength alone;
it is a gift that God bestows
so we may live within His love.
Chorus
Like a mustard seed,
small and humble at the start,
if it remains in Christ,
it will bear abundant fruit.
Nothing is impossible for God
when you walk within His will;
faith walks forward with confidence
in the One who never fails.
Jesus also spoke about
the Kingdom of our God;
He compared it to a mustard seed,
small in its beginning on earth.
It was planted in this world
by Christ, our Lord and King,
and it grew through the preaching
of the apostles He had sent.
What began so humbly
in the land of Israel
has now reached every nation
through His faithful Church on earth.
Just as birds find shelter
among the branches of the tree,
countless souls have found salvation
through the saving grace God gives.
Chorus
Like a mustard seed,
small and humble at the start,
if it remains in Christ,
it will bear abundant fruit.
Nothing is impossible for God
when you walk within His will;
faith walks forward with confidence
in the One who never fails.
Then Christ taught us also
the path of true humility:
when we do what God commands,
we must not seek human praise.
Let us say with humble hearts:
“We have only done our duty,”
for every good work we accomplish
comes from God’s sustaining grace.
Glory does not belong to man,
nor honor to mortal fame;
all glory belongs forever
to the Holy and Eternal God.
Final Chorus
Like a mustard seed,
faith grows strong within the Lord,
and His Kingdom keeps advancing
through the power of His love.
May we remain within His grace,
obedient to His truth,
for Christ continues guiding His Church
along the path of holiness.
Though we may seem small
in the eyes of this world,
God accomplishes mighty works
through those who live in communion with Him.
With the faith of the apostles,
preserved in the Church of God,
let us journey toward the Kingdom
that our Lord has prepared for us.
Amen.
