Lost friend

In times of struggle remember who's never hurt you. The one that's always there when you call. The one that always brings a smile to your face and can stop the tears . The one who's there to pick you up when you fall . The one who will sit on the phone for hours til they know your okay. The one who cracks jokes that you don't laugh at but they care enough to try. Don't take them for granted. They are hard to find.

They are a rare diamond . I've lost so many. Friends for life as I knew them to be. I've had a few. They will always be in my heart . My fake friends are in the wind. I don't need them they only weighed me down. I will forgive and forget them. They don't belong next to me . They are toxic. I will not allow them to cause me anymore pain. Love me right or leave me . Just know this when you lose me you will have lost the best friend you will ever have.
