Depression whispered lies when life got rough
But through every tear and every sleepless night
You never left my side, You were my light
When I was weak, You carried me
When I couldn’t stand, You lifted me

Stronger than the voices in my head
Anxiety may knock on my door
But it doesn’t own me anymore
The chains may rattle, but they can’t hold me down
You’ve turned my mourning into victory now
Depression lost the battle when You set me free
I’m weak on my own, but You’re strong in me
The storm still comes and the waves still rise
But now I see them through different eyes
What once was a prison is a testimony
Of how Your grace kept reaching for me
The scars remain, but they tell the truth
Of a faithful God who carried me through
Every mountain, every valley low
You’ve been the strength I’ve come to know

I’m standing firm on the Rock of Ages
Turning broken chapters into praises
This is my testimony for all to see
I’m weak on my own, but You’re strong in me
When I am weak, then I am strong
You’ve been my strength all along
No fear, no darkness, no enemy
Can take away the victory You’ve given me
