I see him standing next to you

arm around your shoulders like he owns the room

head tilted slightly, eyes too still

the kind that always gives me chills

and maybe it's nothing

maybe I'm wrong

but every time I see you two

something feels off

the way he smiles

without his eyes

the way you laugh

while he watches from the side

he sends shivers down my spine

every instinct says something isn't right

the way he looks at you

the way he waits

like he's keeping score of every move you make

to keep watching every time
