This world is filled with nothing

But temptation, woe and strife

But I gave all that up

For a brand new life

I was a pile of filthy rags

Drowning deep in my sin

Until that day I heard the knock

And I let the Savior in

When Jesus called my name

I took the Master’s hand

Now I’m bound for glory

Up to the Promised Land

So let those trumpets sound

Roll the clouds back in the sky

Call my name up to glory

Where I will meet my Savior

And fall down at the throne

Now in that book of life

My name is written down

By God’s grace I’ve been found
