so, i heard the news, please don't be true

i was really counting on you

and yeah we haven't talked in almost a decade

because you never had anything nice to say

it's like i can't get you off my mind

no matter how hard i try

cause there's that little slimmer of hope

that one day you'll be walking into our home

but for the time being this is how it's going to be

so much for being in my cinderella story

actually i’m going to have more faith

cause i know one day..

even though this is unfair now

not all bad things should bring me down

let's change the mindset for this year

i need things to be clear

cause what's unfair during this time
