I went to a club

I went to a club one night, and the party was outta sight They had a band, and oh that band , could really play.
Well, I moved across the dance floor, somebody was saying gimme more. That music,oh that music, soothed my soul When I moved across the dance floor ,I found a seat up against the wall There was a man sittng there, not so tall. Well, He took me by the hand , said I'm alone can't you see Will you, Oh will you dance me? With We danced to a slow song, He said I don't wanna be alone. Can I? Oh can I ? Take you home? I said no, no baby , I swear by the stars above, I just lost the only man I've ever loved Well, I took him home for Christmas He wanted to meet my family. He said I didn"t want to be Alone , just me and my Christmas tree Two years has go;ne by , He's still here with me . I think I'm in love again , It's plain to see, Now when I go to that club , My mans right there with me. When I leave there and come home He"s escorting me. You know it was Christmas, I didn't want to be alone either. Playing Santa Claus all by myself( ha, ha). So you know what I did. Hey you wont believe this. Listen Girls. You know what , It's been two years, the mans still here..I must be doing something right. Got hogs in the back yard , a garden , all that stuff
Two years gone by, he's still here with me. I think I"m in love again , Its plain to see. You know sometimes I go out to (Carters Lounge) thats where I met the man at.
