Little King Charlee

I'm little King Charlie, so brown and sweet

Got curly-whirly fur from my head to my feet!

From my ground-floor apartment right on the street

I watch the whole world from my favorite seat!

My human Sharlyn is the absolute best

With a mom like her I am totally blessed!

People walk past the window pane—

I let out a bark, yeah, I gotta complain!

I'm Charlie the dog, the goodest boy!

Squeak-squeak-squeaking with my favorite toy!

If a dog pops up on the TV screen

I run right up and I make a scene!

Woof, woof, woof! Hey! Look at me! I'm big bad Charlie the dog, don't ya see?

Time for a walk, let’s hit the town

Gotta sniff the whole neighborhood up and down!

My little nose goes sniff-sniff-sniff

Every single sidewalk gets a real quick whiff!

I bark at the birds, I bark at the cars

I like to tell everyone who we are!

Then we hop in the Caddy for a special ride

To a house with a whole lotta fun inside!

We turn the corner, I know this place!

A massive smile spreads cross my face!

Aunt Cindy's neighborhood is finally here

I look for the cats both far and near!

Fiona and Beebs do not like me at all

They hide in the bedroom just down the hall!

There's a big door between us and I'm locked outside

I just want to play, but they want to hide!

I'm scratching at the wood, oh won't you come out?

But I'm still spinning around and yipping about!

I'm back home now, seems cozy and right.

Super-duper tired. Think I'll call it a night.

I'm quiet and still now. I'm finally calm!
