Alice fell through worlds

and still found her way

so I thought getting lost

was just part of fate

Sleeping Beauty dreams

waiting to be found

so I stayed in places

I should’ve walked out

Little mermaid voice

gave it all for love

so I thought losing me

was what it was

Living in a fairytale world like Peter Pan

now that I’ve grown, I finally understand

I was chasing moments

that were never planned

trying to live a life

that was never mine

so I built expectations

off a scripted design

thinking if I played along

it would all align

but love ain’t a scene

and it don’t replay

and it don’t come perfect

at the end of the day

I just see it clear

those endings were pretty

but they stopped right there
