........SHATTERED........ I will repair these small parts of Me that create the woman I am - I know now that I truly love Me for Me I won't be destroyed by a man! I have many burdens that weigh down my Soul, but my Shoulders are made of steel. My Eyes are all blurry from crying so much, so I try to see only what's real. My Knees are so bruised as I stumble and fall, but my Legs are much sturdier still. My Mind is a trap that sometimes shuts tight against your powerful Will. My Ears are still burning from things that you’ve said, so I try to just hear the birds Sing. My Hand feels quite empty, but isn’t bound to you since I handed you back your Mom’s ring. But my Heart is of Crystal and more delicate still, so when you walked out of my door, My crystal clear Heart, that holds ME together, shattered out onto the floor… JUST SHATTERED…. BUT......
