I was tired… so tired of living wrong

Smiling in the daylight, crying all night long

Every choice I made just led me back to pain

Trying to fill a void that only love could change

I was drifting, barely holding on

Acting strong but my strength was gone

With nothing left… but a desperate plea

No more running, no more pride

Telling me I’d never change

But I poured it out at the altar rail

And in that moment, heaven came through

Love so strong, it made me new

And grace caught me when I would fall

Covered me in His blood

Now I’m walking in the light

Left that old man behind

I’m a brand new creation

Saved by amazing grace divine
