She wore Sunday dresses, but her faith was work boots
Walked straight through the hard things, told the honest truth
Had a voice soft as mercy, steady as a hymn
And when she said, “I’m praying,” you believed in Him
She’d find the lonely standing quiet in the back
Slide in beside ’em, no spotlight, no act
Just a gentle hand and a fearless heart
Living out the gospel part by part
She’d say, “Grace ain’t something you just receive —
If it changed your life, you let it breathe.”
She loved like Jesus in a small-town pew
With open arms and a heart that knew
How to see the good when it ain’t showing
How to plant a seed and keep it growing
She didn’t judge, she didn’t quit
Carried light wherever she went
And every time I choose to forgive
I’m loving the way… the way He did
I saw her kneeling when nobody saw
Crying out to heaven for the ones who’d fall
She’d say, “We’re all just sinners saved by grace,”
With tears and peace on the same sweet face
When my world felt heavy and my faith ran thin
She’d say, “Let Him fight — you just trust in Him.”
And somehow calm would fill that room
Like fear didn’t stand a chance in view
She’d say, “Don’t just talk about turning the other cheek —
Let ’em see Jesus when you speak.”
She loved like Jesus in a world that’s loud
Stood her ground but she stayed bowed
Knew that mercy’s never weakness
And kindness don’t mean you’re speechless
She didn’t bend to bitterness
Didn’t answer hate with it
And every time I choose to give
I’m loving the way… the way He did
Now when I’m tempted to walk away
Or let my temper have its say
I hear her voice like a melody
Calling out the best in me
She showed me strength ain’t closing doors
It’s washing feet on a dusty floor
If there’s anything good in me right now
It’s because of Robin… somehow
She loved like Jesus, fierce and free
Left that kind of mark on me
Grace is power in gentle hands
She’s the reason I still believe
Faith’s more than words we speak
And every day I choose to live
I’m loving the way…
Yeah, I’m loving the way He did
She didn’t just tell me who to be…
She showed me.
