I’m serious this time

phone face down on the floor now

let it buzz, I don’t care

everybody wants access

till I’ve got nothing left to spare

same fake concern, same questions

same “you good?” copy-paste

nobody really wants the answer

they just wanna feel okay

so I go quiet on purpose

pull the blinds, cut the sound

if I disappear for a minute

don’t come looking around

I got too tired of explaining

why my head feels like this

leave me out tonight

I don’t wanna play nice

I don’t wanna reply

mute it all, go ghost

everybody gets too loud

when I’m already close to broke
