Everyday everywhere I see no one by my side. The path I chose since I was a kid. It took everything from me, my happiness my relationships, my family. I’ve shed blood, tears and soul. Everyday I wish this war is over but I know it won’t be so I continue on. I remember my sister, a fond memory, and I push forward through the mud and muck, once more I grab my m4. Time and time again I fight both mentally and physically. No one knows the pain and I shed tears I hold inside. My soul yearns to be with my sister, those who love me. But I can’t go home until the last shots fired..
