Blue Collar

I rise with the sun, got my boots on tight,  
Workin’ every day, yeah, I hustle, I fight,  
Blue collar grind, sweat drips on the floor,  
Feeding my family, that’s what I do it for.  
Heart of this country, we build and we grow,  
Backbone of the nation, you already know,  
While the lazy sit back, just waitin’ for a hand,  
I’m out here grindin’, makin’ my own stand.  
No time for moochers, I don’t owe you a dime,  
My paycheck’s earned, through struggle and grime,  
Respect for the workers, the ones who stay true,  
We’re the heartbeat of the hustle, yeah, that’s me and you.  
So while they sit idle, I’m stackin’ my goals,  
Keepin’ it real, like the steel in my soul,  
From dawn till dusk, I put in that work,  
Building a future, while they just lurk.
