For Sally, my dear friend, who's fighting through the night

Hope and healing, Lord, shine Your light

She’s been my strength through stormy days

A guiding star in so many ways

Her help, like a gentle breeze, lifts me

Now I ask for Your grace, Lord, to set her free

Wisdom to the surgeons, steady Hands divine

Peace that surpasses all in time

Cover her with Your mighty wings

Let healing, like a song, forever sing

Heal her body, mend her soul

Wrap her in Your love’s unending whole

Grand her peace, erase her pain

Bring her through, Lord, again

Guardian angels, fly down from above

Carry her fears, fill her with Your healing love

In this prayer, I trust, I believe

In Your mercy, Lord, we receive

Sally’s strength, her spirit bright
