Walking Towards the Light

Walking down this road, shadows in my mind

Steps heavy with memories I try to leave behind

Echoes of the past, haunting every stride

But I’m moving forward, got hope as my guide

Past the house of pain, where darkness used to dwell

Every brick, every shadow, a story I could tell

Seeing through the tears, the scars that no one sees

Walking through the memories, trying to find my peace

It’s a uphill climb, a battle in my soul

Facing what I feared, trying to make me whole

Walking the road of pain and grace

Seeking light in this haunted place
