He Bore Our Pain

Echoes of mercy, ringing through the night

Whispers of hope in the fading light

Surely He took up our pain, carried all our burden's weight

In the shadows, silent pain, He bore it all in love's own name

We looked and saw Him suffer, beaten, broken, bruised, and torn

Yet in His wounds, our healing dawns, a new light born from mourn

Pierced for transgressions, crushed for iniquities

His suffering for our peace, the price we could not see

By His wounds, we're healed, in His pain, we're made whole

A sacrifice of love, redeeming every soul

He was stricken for our guilt, wounded for our shame

The punishment that brought us peace, glorious in His name

All we like sheep have gone astray, lost in our own way

Yet the Lord laid on Him our sins, to heal and make anew each day

From the cross alone, salvation flows

His love endures, His mercy grows

In the shadow of the grave, new life is born

The Lamb has risen, sin's curse is torn

Now we stand in His victory, redeemed and freed

All our pain and suffering, by His wounds, we receive

Forever we shall sing His praise, our hearts aflame

In His love, forevermore, we praise His holy name
