A Voice of Hope

Heavenly Lord, I lift my hands high

Thanking You for the rescue, for the reason why

Out of storms and shadows, You set me free

Now I stand in Your light, destiny clear to me

Once I was trapped in darkness, caught in pain’s deep night

Knife to my throat, broken and fighting for my life

But Your mercy reached down, showed me a new dawn

From the depths of despair, I found where I belong

You turned my pain into a voice that declares

Against violence, despair, and all that steals our prayer

This path You’ve chosen, a purpose so divine

A messenger of hope, I walk this line

Heavenly Lord, I thank You today

For turning my scars into lessons I convey

I’m a beacon for the broken, a voice for the oppressed

With Your strength inside me, I’m truly blessed

Lost myself in anguish, forgot who I was meant to be

But Your love rewrote my story, set me free

Now I stand unbroken, with a message so loud

For every man and woman caught in violence’s shroud

Why did You choose me for this fighting fight?

To shine a light in darkness, to make wrongs right?

Every trial, every scar, a testament of Your grace

A calling to inspire, to uplift this space
