From Friday to Easter Hope

Oh, we remember the day,

A story of love that never fades away,

From Friday's pain to Sunday's dawn,

A new beginning, a love reborn.

On a hill so high, He bore the cross,

With every nail, He paid the cost,

Crown of thorns, yet His love shone bright,

His sacrifice, our guiding light.

Three days in the tomb, silence and sleep,

Then arose the promise, His love to keep,

From darkness to dawn, the victory won,

His resurrection, the Holy One.

Good Friday to Easter, love's greatest story,

Redemption and hope, eternal glory,

He died for our sins, so we could be free,

Forever in His love, eternally.

We repent, we pray, seeking His grace,

Offering forgiveness, healing every pain,

Celebrating new life, victory over the grave,

In His name, we're saved, His love we crave.

So we gather in church to sing and pray,

Remembering His love on this special day,

From sorrow to joy, from death to life,

Thanks be to God, for Jesus Christ.
