Tim, when I met you, I wasn’t looking for anyone…

and yet, with you, it felt like I had known you forever.

From the very start, you brought comfort, laughter,

and a feeling of home I didn’t even realize I was missing.

Life with you — and our sweet Maddox —

is more beautiful than I ever could have dreamed.

I see the way you love him, the way you care for us both,

and I know I can always count on you.

You are steady, strong…

and still, you never fail to make me laugh —

your humor will forever be the quickest way to my heart.

I love how you dive into challenges headfirst,

researching every detail until you’re confident to try.

I love how you surprise me with projects, sweet notes, and flowers —

reminding me, in all the little ways, just how much you care.

I love how you push me to do the things I love,

and encourage me back toward passions of my own —

always reminding me that who I am matters, too.

I love the father you are —

the way Maddox adores you says it all.

And I love that you are my best friend,

the one I get to keep adventuring with,

through all of life’s chapters.

So today, I promise this:

to keep my heart open in communication,

to lean on you in the hard times,

to always keep you and our family first above all else,

and to love you fiercely, for all of my days.
