How to turn lyrics into a song with AI
1.Paste your lyrics
Open Advanced and choose My own words. Paste the lyrics as you wrote them, one line per line. Current models take up to 5,000 characters, which is room for a full song with a bridge and a final chorus.
2.Mark the structure
Put section tags on their own lines: [Verse], [Pre-Chorus], [Chorus], [Bridge], [Outro]. Tags tell the model where the song lifts and where it settles, so the chorus lands where you meant it to.
3.Describe the sound
In Style, name a genre, a mood, the instruments and the kind of voice: "warm acoustic folk, brushed drums, soft female vocal". Supported models also let you nudge the vocals toward male or female.
4.Create, listen, refine
Press Create and listen. If a line sits awkwardly, change the words or the style and run it again. Aria models can extend a song past its ending, and you can replace a single section instead of starting over.
What a lyrics to song generator does
It reads your words for rhythm before it sings them. Line length, syllables and where the rhymes fall all shape the melody it writes, so the same lyrics can come back as a slow ballad or a fast pop hook depending on the style you ask for.

Tips for lyrics that become better songs
Keep lines singable
Lines of similar length inside a section make a steadier melody. If one line in a verse is twice as long as the rest, the vocal has to rush it.
Write the chorus out every time
Repeat the full chorus each time it comes back. Repetition is what makes lyrics feel like a song rather than a poem read aloud.
Keep performance notes short
Short notes like [Final Chorus] or (whispered) steer the delivery. Keep them brief so they read as directions rather than lines to sing.
Give the style real detail
Tempo, era and instruments help more than adjectives. "90s R&B, 72 BPM, Rhodes and finger snaps" gives the model more to work with than "nice and smooth".
