I tried to take the memories away

Hypnotize myself to just forget

To forget this ever happened

You told me I was nothing to you

Even when I picked you up

you kicked me down

And you took the crown

Letting me drown in my defeat

Thats what I get for letting my guard down

You told me "I want this to never end"

You wanted something more

Played with my feelings like yarn

Just kicking me while I was down

I was expecting a different outcome

But i was just doing the same thing over and over again

The memories linger as you wave your finger

I was trying to put the fire out but ended up feeding the flame

I was under your spell as i thought this was pivotal

But I was just cast away like garbage in the wind

I tried to paint a smile after this happened

Because I let you down
