Climbing with The Lord

On the edge of the mountain, I kneel and look above

In the shadow and the light, I find your eternal love

Battered and broken on this rugged trail

Faced the darkest nights, felt the devil's gale

Sent by the Lord, through storm and strife

Carrying scars, yet embracing life

But now I stand tall, with courage in my sight

Taking off my knee, holding Your hand tight

Writing a new chapter, from pain to hope

In the book You inspired, I learn to cope

This is my story, my battle, my fight

From shadows to shining, guided by Your light

The truth may hurt, but it sets me free

With You by my side, I can be who I was meant to be

The mountain's steep, the journey's long

But with Your strength, I’m ever strong

For every survivor, lost in despair

There’s a dawn, a hope, a prayer in the air

So I walk this mountain, hand in hand with You

Sharing the hope, the truth so true

The beacon is burning, the stories are told
