Dark atmospheric alternative metal with modern metalcore, electronic and cinematic elements. Haunting female vocals that feel intimate, distant and disconnected in the verses, as if singing from somewhere outside herself. Dreamlike ambient synths, subtle piano, electronic textures and restrained guitar create an eerie sense of isolation. Build gradually into huge emotional choruses with down-tuned guitars, powerful drums and layered vocals that feel desperate rather than angry. Use vocal echoes and atmospheric effects to create a fractured, dissociative feeling. Strip the breakdown almost completely bare around “I don’t know who they’re calling anymore,” then explode into the biggest final chorus. End quiet, haunting and unresolved, with the final vocal feeling alone and exposed.
