Dark atmospheric alternative metal/modern metalcore with haunting cinematic ambience and emotional female vocals. Begin with a clean, haunting electric guitar melody, spacious reverb, and restrained vulnerable vocals. Slowly build bass, percussion and atmospheric textures as the song feels like sinking deeper underwater. Choruses explode with distorted guitars, powerful drums and desperate melodic vocals—heavy and emotional, not triumphant. Verse 2 becomes darker and more oppressive. Strip back for the bridge with exhausted, intimate vocals, gradually building into a crushing emotional breakdown at “I'll let it take me away.” Final chorus should be massive but defeated, emphasizing complete surrender rather than survival. Vocals become broken and resigned. For the outro, progressively remove drums and guitars until only distant ambience and a fragile vocal remain.
