Hello everyone let me introduce myself, I'm ,OA . take a seat so u can hear my story.
I SAVED MYSELF
I had to raise myself.
I had to become the person I needed when nobody else was there.
And when nobody saw me win...
I had to be the one who celebrated myself.
People ask me,
“How did you carry all that weight for so long?”
And I just smile.
Because they didn’t see the sleepless nights.
They didn’t see the tears.
They didn’t see the battles inside my own mind.
They didn’t see the pain.
They didn’t see the depression.
They didn’t see the anxiety.
They didn’t see the moments where I questioned if I could keep going.
That was part of my journey.
But through every storm...
through every dark night...
through every moment where I felt lost...
I had to find myself.
I had to rise.
I had to keep fighting.
Because I learned something powerful:
If nobody loves me for who I truly am...
Then I have to become the first person to love me.
The greatest love I ever found was not outside of me.
It was always within me.
It was always me.
Nobody was coming to save me.
I had to save myself.
THE BOXES OF MY PAST
For so long, I carried my trauma like boxes stacked around my soul.
So many boxes.
So many memories.
So many moments I didn’t know how to unpack.
I looked at my entire life story and wondered...
Where do I begin?
Where do I start healing?
For years, I felt like I was born under a black cloud.
It felt like I could never catch a break.
Storm after storm.
Lesson after lesson.
Pain after pain.
Life kept throwing stones.
And after a while, I stopped seeing the sunshine.
I would wake up every day with anxiety wondering...
“What is today going to bring?”
People would ask me,
“How was your day?”
And for years my answer was:
“Same stuff, different day.”
I felt emotionally drained.
Spiritually exhausted.
There was a time when I completely lost myself.
I felt like I was just an empty shell walking through life.
Like I was stuck on repeat.
Wake up.
Survive.
Struggle.
Fight.
Repeat.
Living in a cycle that was slowly taking pieces of me away.
THE MOMENT EVERYTHING CHANGED
Then one day in my late 30s...
I woke up and something inside me said:
“Something has to change.”
I started asking myself:
How do I change my situation?
How do I become better?
How do I heal?
How do I protect my peace?
How do I remove the things that are destroying me?
And I made a decision.
I packed up my life.
I moved to a place where I knew almost nobody.
I brought my children.
I brought my dogs.
And for a month...
I slept in a tent until I found a place to call home.
Some people might have looked at that moment and saw struggle.
But I saw freedom.
Because for the first time...
I removed the chaos.
I removed the toxicity.
And it was just me...
and my mind.
That’s when the real healing began.
THE DARK NIGHT OF THE SOUL
I started going through my entire life.
Back to childhood.
Back to the memories.
Back to the pain.
