In Too Deep
The mind can be a dark and confusing place,
At times no thoughts are safe.
To be stuck in some patterns can drive you mad,
And leave you in a endless cycle of sad.
What to do when your lost in too deep,
Grounded in the present you need to keep.
Picking up emotions and thoughts from other around,
Forever wearing a frown.
Locked away from everyone is where I wish to stay,
Trying to keep my own demons at bay.
But my heart has different plans,
Always needing to lend a helping hand.
Helping to ease everyone else burdens,
Leaving my own for only myself to suffer.
Keeping others from going under,
As my heart tries to take cover.
Trying to make it through yet another storm,
Til a wall is formed.
Though I can help bring others back from the brink,
I still tend to sink.
In my mind Im always in too deep,
However who is there to help me.
