I Have Fallen
Years ago we fought so hard
To keep our head out of the clouds
Not want anything but to keep each other's pain at bay
Just stealing moments in time to drown all other voices away.
Who could have seen where it could all lead.
I have fallen
I'm in too deep
Spinning around
Feet no longer planted on the ground
Truth so hard to see
When your blinded by ecstacy 
Until it's too late
To realize I have fallen ( I'm in too deep)
Only wanting someone's touch
Your heart held in a clutch
Keeping the ones you want most 
From getting too close
Running away from the slightest spark
Because you are more comfortable with being in the dark.
Pushing the best things away
For reason you can't even say.
